Shaun provides speech pathology services for young people from 0 to 18years and their families. Shaun conducts assessment, intervention and training to develop speech, language, literacy and mealtime strategies.

Shaun graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Speech Pathology Studies (2007) and completed a Master of Special Education at Griffith University (2012). He has extensive experience working with young people and families in early childhood and school settings.

Shaun is an active member of Speech Pathology Australia, as well as an editorial committee member for a peer-reviewed journal and representative for Australia/New Zealand on the Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (RADLD) International Committee. Shaun is currently enrolled at Griffith University as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate where he combines his interest and experience in speech pathology and education to research students with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).

As a parent of two young children, Shaun understands the hustle and bustle of family life and will tailor support to suit your needs.

“My vision is to improve the educational outcomes for all students with DLD in Australia. I am currently researching the needs and necessary supports for students with DLD from the perspective of key stakeholders.  My passion is blending clinical experience and research to support young people, families, professionals and schools.”
