About Lauren

Lauren is an experienced and compassionate Speech Pathologist who has been supporting children and families since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland and a Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL), reflecting her deep interest in language, culture, and inclusive communication.

Lauren has worked across a wide range of settings including rural community outreach in Central Queensland, state and private schools, private practice, and internationally as an AusAid volunteer at a special school in Fiji. She also has experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Lauren is passionate about working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and supporting bilingual learners. She brings a family-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, with a strong focus on speech, language, and literacy development.

With over a decade of experience using structured, synthetic phonics and a strong advocacy voice for neurodivergent students, Lauren is committed to helping every child reach their academic and communication potential.

As a mother of two, Lauren understands the real-life challenges that families face and works collaboratively with parents and educators to create achievable, supportive therapy plans. Her warm, holistic approach helps children feel safe, capable, and confident in their communication.
