Maja completed her Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and Master of Speech Pathology Studies at the University of Queensland.

Maja has multiple years of experience in behaviour management and inclusion support, especially in supporting all children in the school environment to engage in curriculum-based activities and thrive. Her areas of interest include developing her knowledge and experience using affirming, non-behaviourist approaches for children and people with disabilities to engage in an authentic way in learning activities and to develop social confidence and identity.

Maja has an interest in supporting clients in achieving their goals in language development and literacy, and she works on functional and meaningful goals using a range of evidence-based approaches that improve quality of life and connection. Maja supports families to advocate for their children and work with other professionals in a team-approach.

Maja’s values include providing a service that is neurodiversity-affirming, client-centered, and based around the client’s strengths. She values getting to know the client, their family, and their community, and engaging in therapy in the context of the client’s environment and lifestyle.
