Mirinka graduated from Flinders University in South Australia with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2008. She has experience working across a range of early intervention, disability and school settings.
Mirinka is passionate about working together with children and families to build their knowledge and skills in everyday environments. She has worked within multidisciplinary teams, family-centred and key-worker practice models.
Mirinka understands the importance of collaborating with other stakeholders and members of her clients’ team to ensure the best outcomes from her intervention.
Mirinka has an interest and experience in the areas of early intervention, disability, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and mealtime management and feeding.
Mirinka is trained in the use of SOS feeding program, LAMP Words For Life, Key Concepts Signing, paediatric feeding and AAC assessment and intervention. She is also a Certified Hanen Therapist, having completed Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words.
