About Valerie
Valerie is a compassionate and multilingual Speech Pathologist who is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages to communicate with confidence in their preferred ways. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology Studies from The University of Queensland and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese (a dialect spoken in Shanghai).Â
As a member of the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community, Valerie values building genuine connections with clients from all cultural backgrounds and providing culturally responsive therapy that celebrates each person’s unique experiences, interests, and strengths. She has experience working with clients of all ages across community, school, and telehealth settings.Â
Valerie has a strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming practice and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She enjoys delivering individualised, person-centred sessions that empower clients to achieve meaningful and functional goals across different environments.
