Bronte is a Speech Pathologist and Counsellor with experience working with children, young adults and families across a range of settings. She is also a proud Aboriginal woman and is passionate about working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to ensure they can access appropriate, effective and culturally safe support.

Bronte joins Speechcare with experience working in education settings across south-east Queensland, both during her studies at Griffith University and following her graduation in 2021. Prior to that she worked as a counsellor with school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom had language difficulties and communication differences that impacted their ability to live life to the fullest.

She is passionate about supporting clients with language difficulties, literacy skills and communication differences through a combination of neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed practice.

Bronte is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and has been a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist since 2022 (MSPA – CPSP). She is also a Level 2 accredited Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and full member with Indigenous Allied Health Australia.

When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her two dogs (Pretzel and Strudel), sew fun new clothes and listen to historical podcasts. Her preferred pronouns are She/Her.
