Daisy Finlay

Daisy has a Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics (BLangLing) and a Master of Speech Pathology (MSpPath) from Griffith University.
Daisy works closely with children experiencing difficulties and differences with in communication and provides treatment that champions their unique strengths. She has a special interest in speech-sound difficulties, language difficulties, school-age literacy, adolescent communication and neurodiversity affirming practice.
Daisy has participated in training focused on understanding the impact of trauma and how to support trauma-informed therapy. She works with young children with disabilities supporting use of Assistive Technology (AAC) and is trained in Sounds-Write, an evidence-based literacy intervention.
Daisy provides affirming and strengths-based assessments to support the autism diagnostic process (see the Resources page for more details about the MIGDAS-2 assessment).
Daisy is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP).
