Krissandra Lau

Krissandra is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Queensland (2023). Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese, Krissandra is eager to bring her multilingual expertise to Speechcare and foster effective communication that transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries.

Throughout her academic journey, Krissandra has gained valuable hands-on experience in various clinical settings. She has a comprehensive understanding of assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, across culturally diverse populations.

Krissandra is a driven and compassionate clinician who values the unique needs of each individual. She is committed to provide individualised and evidence-based interventions, guaranteeing the highest quality of care for her clients. Krissandra prides herself on being able to connect with clients on a personal level, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for effective communication. She is excited to collaborate with all key stakeholders in empowering everyone to achieve their goals.

Outside of the clinic, you can often find Krissandra immersing herself in all sorts of hobbies – whether it is playing sports, dancing, drawing, or baking…. You name it! These activities not only bring joy to her life but helps to keep her on her toes.
