Oliver (Man Fai) Sio, BSpPath (Hons 1), CPSP
Oliver is a multilingual speech pathologist who is fluent in English, Cantonese (廣東話), and Mandarin (國語). Oliver graduated from the University of Queensland with a First Class Honours in his Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2018.

Before starting at Speechcare, Oliver has worked for several clinics and mobile Speech Pathology practices in Brisbane and Gold Coast. In 2022, Oliver established Talk2connect Speech Pathology on the Gold Coast. He has worked extensively with people with disabilities from various cultural backgrounds in the community on speech, language, literacy, fluency, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Oliver also supervises student clinicians as a clinical educator at Southern Cross University.

Oliver is particularly interested in providing language and literacy intervention for school-aged clients with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and other co-occurring conditions. He also has a special interest in working with clients from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

He finds it rewarding to be a paediatric speech pathologist because he can make an impact on his clients when they go through different stages of their lives.

In his spare time, Oliver plays indoor mixed netball for Gold Coast Cyclones in the Superleague. He is currently learning French and Japanese as he enjoys learning new languages. Oliver also takes vocal lessons to work on his singing and vocal arts.
