About Kate

Kate is a passionate Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with clients across the lifespan. She joined the Speechcare team in 2022, beginning in administration before progressing to an Allied Health Assistant role while completing her Master of Speech Pathology. Kate also holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science.

As an Allied Health Assistant, Kate gained valuable experience supporting children of all ages with speech sound, language, and literacy goals. Now as a qualified Speech Pathologist, she has developed a particular interest in working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties, including aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, and dysphagia.

Kate is dedicated to providing care that is safe, holistic, and individualised. She strives to help every client achieve their goals and feel confident in their communication.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Kate by the ocean, reading a good book, or enjoying the sunshine.

Outside of Speechcare, Kate enjoys spending time in the sun, trying new activities and hobbies (she’s doing something new every month), and spending time with her friends and, most importantly, her pet cat, Vinyl.
