About Sophia
Sophia is a compassionate and insightful Speech Pathologist with a strong background in early intervention and communication support for individuals with developmental disabilities. She graduated with First Class Honours from Australian Catholic University, where her thesis explored early literacy development in autistic preschool children.
With experience in transdisciplinary and key worker roles, Sophia has worked closely with children, teenagers, and young adults with disabilities, as well as their families and support networks. She is especially passionate about empowering clients with complex communication needs and supporting them to build confidence, independence, and real-world communication skills.
Sophia’s approach is holistic, collaborative, and guided by her clients’ goals and strengths. She is committed to fostering inclusive environments where communication thrives—not only through direct therapy but also by coaching families, educators, and support workers to help clients succeed in their everyday lives.
