About Terese

Terese is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist with over 25 years of supporting children and adults with communication and feeding challenges. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992 and has since built a rich and diverse career across hospital, community health, and early intervention settings—both in Australia and overseas.

Throughout her career, Terese has supported clients with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and sensory-motor needs. She has worked in acute hospital settings with both paediatric and adult inpatients, and extensively in community-based roles, where she has helped children with disability and their families thrive.

Terese is especially passionate about supporting individuals with complex communication needs and sensory-motor feeding difficulties. She believes in the importance of functional, goal-focused therapy and values building strong relationships with families to ensure that every intervention makes a meaningful difference in daily life.

Her work is grounded in collaborative, family-centred practice and a strong belief in every person’s right to communicate—whether through speech, visuals, sign, or high-tech AAC. Terese also mentors new graduates and student speech pathologists, sharing her knowledge through clinical education and supervision.
