University of Queensland
SpeechCare is proud to collaborate with the University of Queensland on pioneering projects that reflect our commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based practice.
“Why Reward Charts Don’t Work—Now What?”
In partnership with UQ, SpeechCare is developing a free, practical resource aimed at educators who work with neurodivergent children. Titled “Why Reward Charts Don’t Work—Now What?“, this guide explores why traditional extrinsic motivators often fall short and how educators can shift toward strength-based, connection-focused strategies. Designed with input from neurodivergent individuals, families, and educators, the resource will be available in quick-access, classroom-ready formats—making it easy to implement real, inclusive change.
